Chapter: CMI Bulldogs

What began as a dream within the local church youth group God has turned into a beautiful reality! The CMI Bulldogs at the MGCCC Perkinston campus are on fire for God and are impacting lives on their campus and in their college community daily! We are newly founded in 2016 by a few members of the local UPCI churches who share the vision of seeing an Apostolic ministry come to life on their local community college campus. Efforts began in 2014 to establish a CMI chapter on the Perkinston campus after a life changing Mississippi District Holiday Youth Convention inspired us to utilize every avenue within our grasp. Students were already active on campus spreading the gospel and reaching for the lost while they attended classes. However, an official organization on campus was becoming more and more necessary as students grew hungry for God and searched for a “different” apostolic experience. Many students passed through the local church on their way to a bigger university. A foundation of prayer and sacrifice was laid by many of these students, some who are still active in the local church today despite living out of town. Seeds were planted, and we continued to water them! Finally, God has begun to provide the increase and a mighty harvest is ripe for the taking! We believe God placed our church within just a few miles of the MGCCC Perkinston campus as a beacon of light for all of the students to see! Through this ministry we believe many student (and faculty) lives will be impacted! God is doing great things in Perkinston, Mississippi, but we have to believe that the best is still yet to come!
